I have no garage, but I now have LEDs in my carport. What do you think?
Installed today!

I like it! I need to install additional lighting in my garage. Right now I have three 4' fluorescent fixtures. If I could, I’d have lights in the floor. Those would be especially helpful right now.

Nice! LED all thto things! I’m 90% of the way through going all-LED in my house but the 4' fixtures in my garage and shed are still fluorescent. I’ll probably wait til the current bulbs/ballasts go out to buy LED fixtures for those.

Looks good. Don’t forget it on all night or every bug in the universe will gather. I’ve forgotten the garage door open with the led’s blazing. Bugs, bugs everywhere.

They make LED bulbs that are direct replacement for t8 fluorescents now. No need to change the fixture if you don’t want to.

Looks nice and bright. Always a good idea to add more light to workshopy spaces.

10-4. All my fixtures are still old school T12. I keep waiting for the ballasts to die, but they just refuse. I think all but one are over 10 years old now.

Are they wired to a motion sensor? If not, that’d be great for security, and peace of mind when you pull-in or out at night.
